Tanya Atanasova is a Bulgarian born artist currently living in Belgium. In 2005 she graduated in ceramics at The National Academy of Art in Sofia. Following a stay as an exchange student at Sint-Lucas in Ghent, she has permanently settled in Belgium. These days Tanya is primarily working as a painter. Her work has a narrative character and is influenced by symbolism. She uses traditional techniques but gives them a modern twist. In addition, Tanya is also teaching.
